History
The foundation stone was laid on 12th April 1860 by William Gilbert assisted by Dr. Augustus Short, first Bishop of Adelaide and Archdeacon Woodcock. The church conducted its first service on 8th January 1861. The Porch and vestry was added in 1929 as a memorial to John Warren and Margaret Hogarth his wife.
